Our professional catering team can turn a conference into a culinary experience. Please take a look at some of our suggestions to get an impression of what this could entail. Offsite catering is also available.

Onsite Catering

The hotel offers the flexibility of 25 meeting rooms in different sizes, including the Grand Ballroom which can accommodate to a maximum of 950 people in a theatre style.

Created in 1991, the US-style convention services department of Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is the most experienced of any Hong Kong hotel.  Grand Hyatt Hong Kong's Event Planning Managers offer professional advice and attend to all the needs of a conference group on a 24-hour basis.  The managers are the meeting organiser's main liaison with the hotel, coordinating every aspect of a conference including the accommodation blocks, turndown amenities, transportation, billing, check-in and checkout, food and beverage requirements and audiovisual needs.

Our chefs have created a selection of catering services including:

  • Buffet Breakfast – includes a selection of chilled fruit juices, seasonal fresh fruit platters, assorted fruit yoghurt and home-made bircher muesli.
  • Coffee Break – a wide selection of coffee break items are available for both morning and afternoon breaks including croissants, cookies, muffins and whole fruit.
  • Roll-in Lunch – different sets of menus catering to different sizes of meeting.  Items include Seasonal Fresh Salad, Parma Ham with Melon, Deluxe Chinese Dim Sum, Beef and Onion Pie with Gravy, Wok-fried Vegetables, Chocolate Truffle Cake, Seasonal Fresh Fruit Platter and more.
  • Cocktail Reception – includes cold selections such as Prawn and Tequila Ceviche with Cajun Spiced Lavosh and Foie Gras and Pop Rock Lollipops; hot selections like Lobster Cappuccino and Oyster “Rockefeller” on Sautéed Spinach Gratin with Hollandaise; and sweet selections including Apricot Amaretto Tiramisu and Cassis Mousse in a White Chocolate Cup.  Set menus are available to cater to different sizes of cocktail reception.
