A Dramatic Experience
New Contemporary Rooms and Suites Unveiled
Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is excited to unveil a selection of new guestroom floors. The new guestroom design blends the traditional and modern in an elegant, residential style, anchored by a sense of Hong Kong’s oriental heritage and contemporary outlook.
Designed by BAR Studio, the new guestrooms have been imbued with striking spaciousness. The bedroom and bathroom are designed to visually blend, creating the feel of one generously large space with the ambience of a sophisticated home.
The spectacular views of the Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline are maximised throughout the rooms. An open connection between the bedroom and the bath (screened by an operable roman-blind) allows a direct line of sight to the view from the room entry and brings these views and natural light into this area and the bathroom. The carefully considered layout of the guestroom places the “living zone” adjacent to the windows, creating another dimension to the room experience and allowing guests to truly engage with the view and the unique connection to Hong Kong it offers.
The generously sized solid timber table, positioned to take full advantage of the view, adapts easily from an in-room dining table to a spacious an effective work zone (complemented by the adjacent credenza supplying services and additional storage), with custom lighting designed to accommodate each of these uses.
The new guestrooms combine an international outlook with a local understanding and bring carefully crafted detail to spaces that are sophisticated, elegant and relaxed.
Please be advised that renovation works on certain guestroom floors are currently in progress. Noisy work is expected between 10:00 AM and 5:30 PM Mondays to Fridays. Intermittent noise is expected during weekends and public holidays. Restaurants and bars*, Plateau Spa, fitness studios, outdoor swimming pool and business centre will remain in normal operations.
*Kindly note that the Champagne Bar is temporarily closed in July and August 2014 for refurbishment. It will reopen in early September 2014.
